Do I need a licence to operate a telehandler in Victoria?
Three tonne or less lift capacity:
No, however must be a competent operator.

More than three tonne lift capacity:
Yes, requires a High Risk Work Licence (HRWL);
A non-slewing telehandler licence or mobile crane licence (CN or higher)

What are the benefits of this course?
It is a telehandler specific course, training operators in the competent use of telehandlers whilst also meeting the Victorian compliance requirements.
It assists employers in meeting their requirements under section 21 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act (2004) "provide an adequate level of information, instruction, training and supervision to employees to enable them to work safely."
It also contributes to work being completed safely and efficiently.
How long will it take to get this licence?
Allow for three days on site, with mandatory pre learning.
